This Privacy Policy explains how the Namron Updater app (“the App”, “we”, “our”) handles user data. The purpose of the App is to update firmware on compatible Namron Komfyrvakt devices (HDU/PCU) using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. The App does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data.
The App does not collect or process:
Personal information (name, email, phone number, address) Location data Device identifiers Advertising identifiers Network information Usage analytics or telemetry Crash logs Any kind of behavioral or technical profiling
The App uses no third‑party analytics, no ads, and no tracking.
The App requires limited system permissions for technical functionality only.
Used exclusively to:
Scan for Namron Stove Guard devices Establish a BLE connection Perform firmware transfer (DFU)
All communication happens locally between your phone and the hardware device. No data is saved or sent anywhere.
Some iOS versions require “Location When In Use” permission to allow BLE scanning. The App:
Does not request your GPS location Does not read, store, or transmit location data Uses this permission only to enable Bluetooth scanning as dictated by iOS restrictions
All firmware update operations occur locally on your device. No information leaves your phone.
The App stores no data after the update process completes.
No information is shared with Namron, Elektroimportøren, third parties, or external systems.
The App integrates no third‑party:
SDKs Analytics tools Tracking frameworks Cloud services Ad networks
No external entities receive any information from your device.
Because the App collects no personal information, it is suitable for users of all ages and complies with Apple’s App Store policies regarding child safety.
Since the App processes no personal data, the risk of data exposure is minimized. All BLE communication follows secure protocol standards defined by the underlying Bluetooth and DFU frameworks.
We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary due to:
